Companion app by Rivus LLC

Need help? Email support@rivussystems.com. We usually reply within 1–2 business days. If you can, include your account ID from Settings in the app and your device model.

How do I cancel Companion Plus?

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Companion, then tap Cancel Subscription. You can also get there from the app: Settings → Manage Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal or trial ends to avoid being charged. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Tokens are non-refundable except as required by Apple's policies or law.

How do I restore my purchases?

Open the app, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy. This restores your Companion Plus subscription. Tokens you already used can't be restored, and unused tokens are tied to your Companion account rather than your Apple ID.

Will I lose my chats if I delete the app or switch phones?

Companion uses an anonymous account, so there's no email or password to sign back in with. Deleting the app, reinstalling it, or switching phones may leave you unable to access your chats and other data unless you can restore your account. If you lose access, email us and we'll help if we can verify the account.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings & account → Delete account (at the bottom of the Companions screen) and confirm. This permanently deletes all of your data on our servers: chats, memories, personas, companions, images, voice notes and tokens, and removes any companions you published. It can't be undone. Cancel your subscription in Apple Settings first.

How do I see or delete what my companion remembers?

Open a chat and tap Memory (the brain icon at the top). You can see what your companion remembers and clear it all with Forget all.

How do I report or block something?

Press and hold a companion's message and choose Report message; press and hold a companion on the Companions screen and choose Report; tap the Report flag on any portrait or photo; or, in the Gallery, tap the … menu on a companion and choose Report or Block. We review reports and remove content that breaks our Terms. Blocked content is hidden from you right away. You can also email reports to support@rivussystems.com.

Why is my companion staying friendly instead of romantic?

Romance and flirting are part of Companion Plus. Free companions stay platonic.

Why was my message, description or image blocked?

All content passes through automated safety checks. Content involving minors in romantic or sexual contexts, non-consensual themes, real people, nudity or explicit imagery isn't allowed. If you think something was blocked by mistake, try rephrasing or contact us.

Is my companion a real person?

No. Companions are fictional characters, and their replies, voice notes and images are generated by AI. They can make mistakes and aren't a source of professional advice. If you're in crisis, contact local emergency services, or in the US call or text 988.

Crisis and self-harm protocol

Companions are AI, not people, and the app says so: at first launch, in every chat header, and with an in-chat reminder at the start of a session and at least every 3 hours of continuous use. We take conversations about suicide and self-harm seriously:

Companion is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
